1. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period shall require re-issuance and may be subject to revised rates.
- The Professor’s engagement is contingent upon the client’s written acceptance of this quotation and the execution of a formal Service Agreement in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Nepal.
- All services shall be primarily delivered at the client’s premises in Nepal Kathmandu. Remote consultations via video conferencing are permitted for up to 20% of total engagement hours at no additional cost.
- Payment shall be made in quarterly installments (25% per quarter) within fifteen (15) working days of the submission of the quarterly progress report by the Professor.
- The Professor reserves the right to publish research outputs arising from this engagement, subject to prior written approval from the client institution. All intellectual property developed specifically for the client shall remain the property of the client.
- Travel and accommodation within the Kathmandu Valley (including Lalitpur and Bhaktapur) are included. Travel beyond the Kathmandu Valley shall be billed at actual cost with prior written approval.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The terms herein are subject to the academic regulations of the University Grants Commission, Nepal, and the institutional bylaws of the client.
- Any force majeure event, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or public health emergencies affecting Nepal Kathmandu, shall suspend obligations under this engagement without penalty to either party.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent Service Agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to the competent court of law in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- All rates quoted are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and are inclusive of the Professor’s professional fees, preparation time, and standard administrative support. Any additional services beyond the scope defined herein shall be subject to a separate supplementary Quotation Estimate.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Quotation Estimate accurately reflects the agreed-upon scope, cost, and terms for the engagement of the Professor in the Nepal Kathmandu academic and institutional context. This document shall serve as the foundational reference for the subsequent Service Agreement.
