This Quotation Estimate is issued by Amsterdam University Consultancy Group (AUCG) in response to the formal request submitted by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for the engagement of a senior Professor to deliver a comprehensive programme of academic services within the Netherlands Amsterdam metropolitan area. The scope of this engagement encompasses guest lecturing, doctoral supervision, peer review of research publications, and participation in interdisciplinary research workshops. All services described herein are to be performed in accordance with the academic standards and regulatory frameworks established by the Dutch Association of Universities (NVAO) and the specific institutional policies of the host institution in Amsterdam.

The Professor engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be a full-time tenured academic holding a habilitation or equivalent senior appointment, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of post-doctoral experience in the relevant field. The Professor will be based in the Netherlands Amsterdam region for the duration of the engagement and will be available for on-site presence at the designated university campus no fewer than three (3) days per week.

Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the Professor must be reconfirmed in writing.
Payment Terms: Invoices shall be issued on a monthly basis in arrears. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date via bank transfer to the AUCG account at ING Bank, Amsterdam (IBAN: NL91 INGB 0000 0000 00). Late payments shall accrue interest at the statutory Dutch rate (wettelijke rente) as defined in Article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek).
Intellectual Property: All research outputs, lecture materials, and curricula developed by the Professor during the engagement shall be jointly owned by AUCG and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, unless otherwise agreed in a separate Intellectual Property Addendum.
Confidentiality: The Professor and all AUCG personnel shall adhere to strict confidentiality obligations in accordance with the Dutch Data Protection Act (Uitvoeringswet AVG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applicable in the Netherlands.
Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice period of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, all services rendered up to the termination date shall be invoiced in full.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions within the Netherlands Amsterdam region.
Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Compliance: The Professor shall comply with all applicable Dutch academic regulations, including those set by the NVAO, the Dutch Research Council (NWO), and the specific code of conduct of the host institution in Amsterdam.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing set forth in this Quotation Estimate. Upon acceptance, this document shall serve as the basis for the formal service agreement between the parties. The Professor's engagement in the Netherlands Amsterdam area shall commence on the date specified in the subsequent contract or, if no specific date is stated, within fourteen (14) days of the acceptance date.
