This Quotation Estimate is issued by Pacific Scholars Consultancy Ltd. in response to the formal request for proposal received from the University of Auckland regarding the engagement of a senior academic, specifically a Professor of Applied Environmental Science, to deliver a comprehensive research supervision and curriculum development programme. All services described herein are to be performed within the metropolitan area of New Zealand Auckland, with primary delivery at the University of Auckland's main campus on Symonds Street and secondary delivery at the Auckland Regional Science Centre in Ponsonby.

The Professor to be engaged under this Quotation Estimate holds a full-time Chair position at a recognised New Zealand university, possesses over twenty-five years of peer-reviewed research experience in environmental systems modelling, and has published more than one hundred and forty articles in internationally indexed journals. The engagement is structured to support the Faculty of Science's strategic initiative to expand its postgraduate research capacity and to modernise its undergraduate curriculum in alignment with the Tertiary Education Commission's 2025–2030 framework.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the University of Auckland wish to proceed after the expiry date, a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting any changes in the Professor's availability or prevailing market rates in New Zealand Auckland will be required.
All fees quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of the Professor's professional time, preparation, and in-region travel within the Auckland metropolitan area. Travel outside the Auckland region will be billed at cost with prior written approval.
Payment terms: 50% of the total Quotation Estimate value is due upon execution of the service agreement; the remaining 50% is payable in two equal instalments at the six-month and twelve-month milestones.
The Professor shall comply with all applicable New Zealand employment, privacy (Privacy Act 2020), and tertiary education legislation. All intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be governed by a separate Intellectual Property Agreement to be executed concurrently with the service contract.
Any variation to the scope of services outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed in writing by both parties. Pacific Scholars Consultancy Ltd. reserves the right to issue a supplementary Quotation Estimate for any additional work requested by the University of Auckland.
This engagement is subject to the Professor completing all necessary security and background checks required for working within New Zealand Auckland's tertiary education sector, including a National Criminal History Check and a Working with Children Check where applicable.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting service agreement shall be resolved through mediation in Auckland, New Zealand, in accordance with the Mediation Act 2010, before any litigation is commenced in the District Court of Auckland.

By signing below, the University of Auckland acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate in full, authorising Pacific Scholars Consultancy Ltd. to proceed with the engagement of the Professor for the services described herein, to be delivered in New Zealand Auckland in accordance with the terms and conditions set out above.
