This Quotation Estimate is issued in accordance with the procurement guidelines of the Wellington Regional Development Authority and the academic engagement protocols of the University of Wellington, New Zealand. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed beyond this validity period, a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting any changes in the Professor's availability or prevailing New Zealand market rates will be required.
- All services described herein are to be performed by Professor Aroha Ngata personally, or by her directly supervised research team based in Wellington, New Zealand. Substitution of the primary Professor without prior written consent from the client is not permitted.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon delivery of the written policy report; and 30% upon completion of the final advisory period. All payments are to be made in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) via bank transfer to the account nominated by the University of Wellington, New Zealand.
- The Professor and the University of Wellington, New Zealand shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the engagement. Total liability under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total estimated cost stated herein.
- All intellectual property, including the written policy report, research data, and presentation materials produced under this engagement, shall vest in the Wellington Regional Development Authority upon full payment. The Professor retains the right to cite the work in academic publications with appropriate attribution.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Wellington, New Zealand, in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Resolution Act 2010.
- The Professor reserves the right to withdraw from this engagement with fourteen (14) days' written notice in the event of force majeure, serious illness, or institutional reassignment, in which case a pro-rata refund of unused fees will be issued.
- All work shall be conducted in a manner consistent with the New Zealand Code of Research Practice and the ethical guidelines of the University of Wellington, New Zealand.
