This Quotation Estimate is formally submitted to the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria Abuja, in response to Request for Proposal No. FME/RFP/2025/112. The Professor shall serve as the Principal Academic Consultant for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing 1 September 2025. The scope of work encompasses curriculum development for postgraduate economics programmes, research supervision of doctoral candidates, policy advisory sessions for federal agencies headquartered in Nigeria Abuja, and the delivery of a minimum of eight (8) public seminars and workshops across the Federal Capital Territory.

This Quotation Estimate proposes a payment structure aligned with the fiscal calendar of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Disbursements shall be made in quarterly instalments as follows:
Quarter 1 (September – November 2025): 30% of the grand total, payable within fourteen (14) working days of contract execution in Nigeria Abuja.
Quarter 2 (December 2025 – February 2026): 25% of the grand total, payable upon submission of the mid-term progress report.
Quarter 3 (March – May 2026): 25% of the grand total, payable upon completion of the sixth doctoral supervision cycle.
Quarter 4 (June – August 2026): 20% of the grand total, payable upon final project close-out and delivery of all deliverables.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the designated institutional account of the Professor's host university in Nigeria Abuja. No cash payments shall be accepted under any circumstance.
4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in Nigeria Abuja.
4.2 The Professor reserves the right to withdraw from this engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice should the client fail to meet any scheduled payment obligation.
4.3 All intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria Abuja, as stipulated in the separate Intellectual Property Agreement.
4.4 The Professor shall comply with all data protection regulations as outlined in the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, particularly regarding the handling of student and research participant data.
4.5 Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Nigeria Abuja, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, LFN 2004.
4.6 This estimate does not include Value Added Tax (VAT), as academic and research services rendered by a recognised Professor at a federal university in Nigeria Abuja are exempt under Section 12 of the VAT Act.
Important Note: This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding financial projection. The final contract, to be executed in Nigeria Abuja, shall incorporate all terms herein along with additional clauses negotiated between the Professor and the client. All figures are stated in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are subject to the exchange rate and inflation conditions prevailing at the time of contract execution.By signing below, the parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of the Professor in Nigeria Abuja.
