1. Purpose and Scope of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is formally issued to outline the comprehensive cost structure, deliverables, and professional terms associated with the engagement of a senior Professor for academic research, curriculum development, and institutional advisory services. This document has been specifically prepared for implementation within Saudi Arabia Riyadh, in full compliance with the regulatory frameworks established by the Saudi Ministry of Education, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (where applicable), and the local commercial regulations of the Riyadh municipality. The Professor referenced in this Quotation Estimate shall be a tenured or equivalent senior academic holding a Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of post-doctoral experience in the relevant field of study.

3. Terms and Conditions

  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Any engagement beyond this period shall require a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting current market rates in Saudi Arabia Riyadh.
  • All payments shall be processed in Saudi Riyal (SAR) via bank transfer to the designated account. The Professor's compensation is subject to the Saudi Income Tax regulations as administered by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
  • The 15% Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied in accordance with the Saudi Arabian VAT Law (Royal Decree No. M/247, effective 1 January 2018). The Professor's services, where classified as exempt under ZATCA guidelines, may be subject to a tax adjustment upon final invoicing.
  • The Professor shall comply with all Saudi Arabian labor laws, including the requirement to obtain a valid Iqama (Residence Permit) and work authorization from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development prior to commencing duties in Riyadh.
  • Working hours shall follow the standard Saudi academic calendar. The Professor is expected to be physically present in Riyadh for a minimum of 220 working days per annum, with flexibility for approved international travel.
  • Intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the hosting institution, as stipulated in the separate Academic IP Agreement to be executed in Riyadh.
  • This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal Service Agreement, governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, must be executed by both parties before any services commence.
  • Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent agreement shall be resolved through the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) in Riyadh.
  • The hosting institution reserves the right to terminate the engagement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In such an event, the Professor shall be compensated pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date.
Important Note for Saudi Arabia Riyadh Compliance: This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the Saudi Ministry of Education and the National Competency-Based Qualifications Framework (NCQF). The Professor's qualifications, academic credentials, and professional references must be verified through the Saudi Council of Higher Education (CPE) before the commencement of any academic duties in Riyadh. All documentation must be attested by the Saudi Embassy in the Professor's home country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Quotation Estimate accurately reflects the agreed-upon scope, cost, and terms for the Professor's engagement in Saudi Arabia Riyadh. This document serves as the foundational financial reference for the subsequent formal Service Agreement.
