Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in accordance with the following schedule: an initial deposit of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total estimated cost, amounting to $41,988.75, is due upon execution of the formal service agreement. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in quarterly installments of approximately $41,988.75, payable within thirty (30) days of invoice receipt. All payments shall be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the University of Miami's designated accounts receivable office. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month, in compliance with Florida state procurement regulations applicable to United States Miami municipal contracts.
Important Notes Regarding This Quotation Estimate:
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Professor reserves the right to revise rates based on current market conditions in United States Miami.
- All services will be performed in compliance with the University of Miami's conflict-of-interest policies and the Florida Sunshine Law governing public academic engagements.
- The Professor's academic obligations at the University of Miami, including teaching and research duties, take precedence. Scheduling conflicts may result in a one-week delay in deliverables, which shall not be considered a breach of contract.
- Intellectual property generated under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the Miami-Dade County, with the Professor retaining the right to publish findings in academic journals.
