All amounts in this Quotation Estimate are subject to the following local tax obligations as governed by the Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Department of Taxation and the General Department of Vietnam Customs:
- VAT (Value Added Tax): 8% applicable to service fees rendered within Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City, unless exempt under bilateral tax treaties.
- Personal Income Tax (PIT): 20% withholding on the Professor's honorarium, in compliance with Vietnam's Circular 111/2013/TT-BTC.
- Withholding Tax on foreign service providers: 5% on gross revenue for non-resident entities, as stipulated under Vietnam's Law on Foreign Trade Tax.
- All payments exceeding 15,000,000 VND per transaction must be processed through a licensed banking institution in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
- Payment Schedule: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of the third month of the Professor's engagement; 20% final settlement within 15 business days of project closure.
- Payment Method: Bank transfer to the designated account at a commercial bank operating in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City (e.g., Vietcombank, Techcombank, or BIDV branch in District 1).
- Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate becomes a binding agreement upon written countersignature by both parties. The Professor's engagement is contingent upon successful visa and work permit approval by the Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
