Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability of the Radiologist must be reconfirmed in writing.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, with the remaining 50% invoiced within fourteen (14) days of completion of the agreed service period. Late payments will attract interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- All radiological services will be performed at the Thames Diagnostic Imaging Centre premises in Marylebone, London, or at such other United Kingdom London location as mutually agreed in writing. The Radiologist reserves the right to decline any referral that falls outside the scope of safe and ethical radiological practice.
- The Radiologist shall provide all diagnostic reports within the following turnaround times: Urgent – 4 hours; Routine – 2 working days; Elective – 5 working days. These timelines apply to all imaging modalities listed in this Quotation Estimate.
- Confidentiality: All patient data and imaging studies will be handled in full compliance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Caldicott Principles. No patient information will be shared with third parties without explicit written consent, except where required by law in the United Kingdom.
- Professional Indemnity: The Radiologist maintains professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of £5,000,000 per claim, held with a UK-registered insurer. A certificate of insurance will be provided upon request.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the services described herein shall be resolved through mediation in London, United Kingdom, in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), before any formal legal proceedings are initiated.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. Acceptance of this document authorises the Radiologist to schedule and deliver the services as outlined above.
