Andes Robotics Solutions SpA is pleased to present the following detailed proposal, which outlines the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and associated costs for the engagement of a senior Robotics Engineer specializing in industrial automation, robotic cell design, and PLC-integrated control systems.
1. Scope of WorkThis Quotation Estimate covers the full-time engagement of a certified Robotics Engineer for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 September 2025. The Robotics Engineer will be physically based at the client's premises in Chile Santiago and will report directly to the Plant Engineering Manager. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, programming, and commissioning of six-axis industrial robotic arms (KUKA, FANUC, and ABB platforms) for welding, palletizing, and material-handling applications.
- Development and integration of PLC control logic (Siemens S7-1500 and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix) to ensure seamless communication between the Robotics Engineer-designed robotic cells and existing production lines.
- Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and safety compliance audits in accordance with Chilean regulatory standards (NCh) and ISO 10218-1 / ISO 10218-2 for industrial robot safety.
- Authoring technical documentation, including P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, HMI/SCADA interface specifications, and as-built drawings for the Robotics Engineer projects.
- Providing on-site training to the client's maintenance and operations teams in Chile Santiago on robotic system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance schedules, and software updates.
- Collaborating with the client's process engineers to identify additional automation opportunities that can reduce cycle times by a minimum of 15% across the assembly line.
The Robotics Engineer assigned to this project holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with over fourteen (14) years of progressive experience in industrial robotics. The candidate is a certified KUKA System Engineer and a FANUC CRP (Certified Robotics Professional).
