This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by TechNova Engineering Solutions S.r.l. to formally outline the scope, deliverables, and associated costs for the engagement of a senior Robotics Engineer to support the client's industrial automation and robotic systems development programme. The engagement is to be carried out primarily at the client's operational facilities located in Italy Milan, with the possibility of remote collaboration for design and simulation phases. This document serves as a binding financial proposal and should be reviewed in its entirety before acceptance.

The Robotics Engineer will be responsible for the design, integration, programming, testing, and commissioning of robotic systems tailored to the client's manufacturing and logistics workflows. All work will comply with the applicable Italian and European regulations, including the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 on workplace safety, and the relevant ISO standards governing industrial robotics in the Italy Milan industrial corridor.

The Robotics Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will perform the following activities within the Italy Milan operational environment:

  • Requirements Analysis & Feasibility Study: Conduct on-site assessments at the client's facility in Italy Milan to evaluate current production lines, identify automation opportunities, and produce a detailed technical feasibility report for robotic integration.
  • System Design & Simulation: Develop 3D CAD models and kinematic simulations of the proposed robotic cells using industry-standard software (e.g., ABB RobotStudio, Siemens NX MCD, or KUKA.Sim). All design documentation will be delivered in both English and Italian to facilitate local regulatory compliance in Italy Milan.
  • Hardware Procurement Coordination: Advise on the selection and procurement of robotic arms, end-effectors, safety scanners, PLCs, and peripheral equipment. The Robotics Engineer will liaise with approved suppliers and ensure all components meet CE marking requirements for the Italian market.
  • Programming & Integration: Write, debug, and optimise control logic for the robotic systems. This includes PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000), robot controller programming, and integration with the client's existing MES/ERP infrastructure.
  • On-Site Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and execute the physical installation of robotic cells at the client's premises in Italy Milan. Perform functional testing, safety validation, and performance benchmarking in accordance with the agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver a minimum of 40 hours of hands-on training to the client's in-house maintenance and operations team, covering robot operation, basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance schedules, and safety protocols specific to the Italy Milan site.
  • Post-Commissioning Support: Provide a 12-month warranty support window during which the Robotics Engineer will be available for remote diagnostics and up to five on-site visits in Italy Milan for corrective maintenance or performance tuning.
