The Robotics Engineer assigned to this project will be a senior-level professional with a minimum of twelve (12) years of hands-on experience in industrial robotics, mechatronic system design, PLC/SCADA integration, and collaborative robot (cobot) deployment. The Robotics Engineer will be physically stationed at the client's premises in Pakistan Karachi for the duration of the active project phases, ensuring real-time problem resolution, direct coordination with the client's production floor staff, and compliance with local industrial safety standards as mandated by the Sindh Industrial Safety Authority.
The scope encompasses the following key deliverables:
- Site survey and feasibility assessment of the existing assembly line at the Karachi facility.
- System architecture design for a six-axis industrial robotic cell (FANUC or ABB equivalent) with end-of-arm tooling.
- Programming, parameterization, and safety interlock configuration of the robotic controller.
- Integration of the robotic cell with the client's existing Siemens S7-1500 PLC and WinCC SCADA environment.
- Development of a comprehensive HMI interface for operator monitoring and fault diagnostics.
- Commissioning, performance validation, and a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours of supervised trial operation.

Note: The above Quotation Estimate does not include the capital cost of the robotic arm, end-of-arm tooling, safety fencing, or any third-party hardware procurement. These items may be sourced separately at the client's discretion. If Apex Robotics is engaged to procure hardware, a separate hardware quotation will be issued.
The Robotics Engineer engagement is projected to span approximately five (5) calendar weeks from the date of contract execution, with the following milestone schedule:
- Week 1: Site survey, requirements finalization, and system architecture approval (Karachi site).
- Week 2–3: Detailed engineering, PLC/SCADA programming, and HMI development (hybrid – office and site).
- Week 4: On-site installation support, robotic cell integration, and safety interlock verification (Karachi site).
- Week 5: Commissioning, 72-hour trial run, operator training, and handover documentation (Karachi site).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised to reflect market conditions in Pakistan Karachi.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon signing of the service agreement, 40% upon completion of integration and prior to commissioning, and 30% upon successful handover and acceptance of the as-built documentation.
- All payments shall be made in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) via bank transfer to the account of Apex Robotics & Automation Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd., Meezan Bank, Karachi Branch.
- The Robotics Engineer shall adhere to all applicable occupational health and safety regulations as enforced by the Sindh Labour Department and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) code of conduct.
- Intellectual property generated specifically for the client under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment. General methodologies, proprietary code libraries, and pre-existing IP remain the property of Apex Robotics.
- Any change in scope beyond the originally defined deliverables will be subject to a formal change-order process and a revised Quotation Estimate prior to execution.
- This engagement is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
- The Robotics Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of PKR 50,000,000 for the duration of the project.
