Thank you for your request for a Quotation Estimate regarding the engagement of a qualified Robotics Engineer to support the automation and industrial robotics programme at your facility in Uganda Kampala. Apex Robotics & Automation Solutions Ltd. is pleased to submit this detailed Quotation Estimate outlining the scope of work, professional fees, and associated costs for the deployment of our senior Robotics Engineer to your premises in Uganda Kampala.
This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in full compliance with the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) guidelines for professional engineering services and reflects current market rates for Robotics Engineer consultancy within the East African region. All pricing is quoted in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise stated.
1. Scope of Work – Robotics Engineer EngagementThe Robotics Engineer assigned to this project will deliver the following services at your Uganda Kampala facility over a period of twelve (12) weeks:
- Conduct a comprehensive site assessment and feasibility study for industrial robotic integration across all production lines in Uganda Kampala.
- Design, programme, and commission robotic arms and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) for material handling, welding, and quality inspection tasks.
- Develop a detailed technical architecture document specifying PLC programming, sensor integration, and safety interlock systems compliant with ISO 10218 standards.
- Provide hands-on training to a minimum of eight (8) local technicians on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the installed Robotics Engineer-designed systems.
- Deliver a full project report, as-built drawings, and a 12-month preventive maintenance schedule tailored to the operational environment of Uganda Kampala.
- Offer a 90-day post-commissioning warranty period with on-site support by the Robotics Engineer or a designated deputy.

- 30% Advance Payment: UGX 50,268,000 – Due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
- 40% Milestone Payment: UGX 67,024,000 – Due upon successful completion of the commissioning phase and sign-off by the client's technical team in Uganda Kampala.
- 30% Final Payment: UGX 50,268,000 – Due upon delivery of the final project report, training completion certificates, and commencement of the warranty period.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to Apex Robotics & Automation Solutions Ltd., Stanbic Bank Uganda, Account No. 0045-2871-93, Branch: Kampala CBD. Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice date. Late payments shall attract interest at the Uganda Bank of Uganda base rate plus 2% per annum.
4. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, exchange rates, or market conditions in Uganda Kampala.
- The Robotics Engineer shall be provided with a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with the Uganda Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2006. The client is responsible for all site-specific safety permits and access clearances.
- All intellectual property, design documents, and proprietary code developed by the Robotics Engineer during the course of this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full and final payment.
- Apex Robotics & Automation Solutions Ltd. shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to political instability, natural disasters, or government-mandated shutdowns in Uganda Kampala.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written change order and a revised cost assessment approved by both parties.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Robotics Engineer at the specified Uganda Kampala facility.
