1. Purpose of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is formally issued to provide the Commission scolaire de Montréal with a comprehensive and transparent financial breakdown for the engagement of a qualified School Counselor to deliver student support services within the Canada Montreal school district. This document outlines the scope of professional services, associated costs, payment schedules, and contractual terms governing the provision of counseling support to students, parents, and teaching staff across designated schools in the Canada Montreal region.

2. Scope of Services

The School Counselor engaged under this Quotation Estimate will provide the following professional services to students enrolled in participating schools within Canada Montreal:

  • Individual Counseling Sessions: One-on-one support for students experiencing academic, social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Sessions will be conducted in both English and French to accommodate the bilingual student population of Canada Montreal.
  • Group Counseling Programs: Facilitation of small-group interventions addressing topics such as bullying prevention, stress management, grief and loss, and social skills development.

  • Assessment and Referral: Administration of standardized psychological and educational assessments, followed by appropriate referrals to external specialists in the Canada Montreal community when necessary.
  • Preventive Programming: Design and delivery of school-wide mental health awareness campaigns, including assemblies, informational materials, and peer-support program facilitation.

4. Payment Terms and Schedule

This Quotation Estimate stipulates that payment for the School Counselor services shall be made on a quarterly basis, with invoices issued at the end of each fiscal quarter (October, January, April, and July). Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments will incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as per the standard commercial practices in Canada Montreal. All amounts are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of the School Counselor's professional liability insurance coverage.

5. Terms and Conditions

  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, rates may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Canada Montreal.
  • The School Counselor shall maintain full professional registration with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and shall provide proof of registration and liability insurance upon request.
  • All student records and counseling documentation shall be maintained in strict compliance with the Loi sur la protection des renseignements personnels dans le domaine privé (Quebec) and the Canadian Privacy Act. Records will be stored securely at the designated Canada Montreal office facility.
  • Either party may terminate this engagement with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of early termination, a pro-rated settlement of services rendered will be calculated and invoiced.
  • The School Counselor reserves the right to refer students to external specialists outside the Canada Montreal district when the nature of the presenting issue exceeds the scope of school-based counseling.
  • This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally signed and countersigned by both parties. Upon execution, it shall serve as the governing financial document for the service period.
  • All disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada Montreal jurisdiction.

6. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the authorized representative of the Commission scolaire de Montréal acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined herein for the engagement of the School Counselor services in Canada Montreal.
