This Quotation Estimate covers a full academic year engagement from 1 March 2025 through to 15 December 2025, with the School Counselor providing on-site presence at Wellington Community College, New Zealand Wellington, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The School Counselor will also be available for scheduled evening parent information sessions and community wellbeing events as coordinated with the college's pastoral care team. All services will be delivered in accordance with the New Zealand Code of Ethics for Counsellors and the requirements of the Education Act 1989.
4. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the college wish to proceed beyond this period, a revised Quotation Estimate will be issued reflecting any changes in market rates or scope.
- Payment Terms: Invoices will be issued monthly in arrears. Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice date via bank transfer to the account details provided. Late payments will incur interest at the rate of 2% per month as permitted under New Zealand commercial law.
- Cancellation: Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the School Counselor will be compensated for services rendered up to the termination date.
- Confidentiality: All student records and counseling notes will be maintained in strict confidence in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and NZAC ethical guidelines. Records will be stored securely on-site and destroyed after the statutory retention period.
- Insurance: The School Counselor carries professional indemnity insurance of no less than NZD $5,000,000 and public liability insurance of NZD $10,000,000, with certificates available upon request.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate will be resolved through mediation under the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal Act 2022 before any formal legal proceedings are initiated.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and the resulting engagement are governed by the laws of New Zealand, with jurisdiction in the District Court of Wellington.
