This Quotation Estimate is issued by Proactive Mindset Counselling & Educational Support (Pty) Ltd to Greenfield High School, located in the greater South Africa Johannesburg metropolitan area, in response to the school's formal request for professional School Counselor services for the 2025 academic year. The School Counselor services proposed herein are designed to align with the Department of Basic Education's guidelines for learner support in South Africa and to meet the specific needs identified during the initial consultation held on 28 May 2025 at the school premises in Johannesburg.
The School Counselor will provide comprehensive, evidence-based counselling and support services to all learners (Grades 8–12), teachers, and administrative staff at Greenfield High School. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Individual one-on-one counselling sessions for learners experiencing academic stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict, or social difficulties.
- Group counselling workshops (maximum 15 learners per group) focused on life skills, conflict resolution, substance abuse prevention, and career guidance.
- Weekly classroom-based psycho-educational presentations on mental health awareness, bullying prevention, and emotional regulation.
- Crisis intervention and immediate support for learners experiencing acute psychological distress or traumatic events.
- Collaboration with the school's teaching staff to develop and implement a whole-school positive behaviour support plan.
- Monthly progress reports submitted to the school's Head of Department and the Principal.
- Referral coordination with external mental health professionals, social workers, and the Johannesburg Department of Social Development where necessary.
- Participation in at least two (2) parent-teacher information sessions per term regarding learner well-being and support strategies.

4.1 Payment shall be made in four (4) equal monthly instalments of R 115,230.00 (inclusive of VAT), due on the 1st of each term month (January, April, July, October).
4.2 Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, in accordance with the Late Payment of Interest Act, 1998 (Act No. 72 of 1998) as applicable in South Africa.
4.3 The School Counselor's services shall commence on 3 March 2025, subject to the school's confirmation and signing of this Quotation Estimate.
4.4 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Thereafter, rates may be subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in the Johannesburg region.
4.5 The school reserves the right to terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In such an event, a pro-rata charge for services rendered up to the termination date will apply.
4.6 All counselling records and learner data shall be maintained in strict confidence in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) code of conduct.
4.7 The School Counselor shall comply with all applicable South African legislation, including the Children's Act, 2005 (Act No. 38 of 2005), and the Basic Education Act, 1995 (Act No. 78 of 1995).
