- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice. The client, Chicago Public Schools District 299, shall remit payment via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or certified check to the account designated by Chicago Educational Staffing Solutions, LLC.
- The School Counselor shall be engaged under a one (1) academic year contract (July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026), with the option to renew for subsequent academic years subject to mutual written agreement and satisfactory performance evaluation.
- All services shall be performed in strict compliance with the laws of the State of Illinois, the ordinances of the City of Chicago, and the regulations of the United States federal government, including but not limited to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Confidentiality: All student records, counseling notes, and personal information shall be maintained in accordance with FERPA, the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (815 ILCS 530/), and the Chicago Municipal Code. Unauthorized disclosure shall result in immediate contract termination and potential legal action.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination for cause, the School Counselor shall be provided a transition period of no fewer than ten (10) business days to ensure continuity of student services.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through mediation in Cook County, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The governing law shall be that of the State of Illinois and the United States of America.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and executed in accordance with the procurement policies of the Chicago Board of Education.
