4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision and re-issuance.
4.2 Payment Terms: Invoices will be issued on a monthly basis in arrears. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date via BACS transfer to the account details provided. Late payments will incur interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4.3 Cancellation and Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice period of eight (8) weeks. In the event of early termination, the Social Worker's fees will be pro-rated for the period of service actually rendered.
4.4 Data Protection: All personal data processed in connection with this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent Social Worker engagement will be handled in strict compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Social Worker will sign a Data Processing Agreement prior to commencing duties.
4.5 Regulatory Compliance: The Social Worker will comply with all applicable regulations set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Local Government Association (LGA) standards, and the specific policies of the London Borough of Croydon. The Social Worker will maintain current HCPC registration throughout the contract period.
4.6 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved through mediation in accordance with the rules of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in London, United Kingdom.
