The Software Engineer assigned under this Quotation Estimate will operate on-site at the client's premises located in central Belgium Brussels, with a minimum presence of four (4) days per week. The remaining day may be allocated to remote work, subject to mutual agreement. The Software Engineer will possess a minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in full-stack development, with demonstrated expertise in Java, Python, cloud-native architectures (AWS and Azure), and microservices design patterns. The role encompasses the following core responsibilities:
- Design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software applications aligned with the client's business objectives.
- Participation in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings conducted in the client's Brussels office.
- Code review, technical mentoring of junior developers, and contribution to the internal knowledge base.
- Integration of third-party APIs and services, ensuring compliance with Belgian and EU data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Collaboration with the client's product management and QA teams to ensure delivery quality and timely releases.

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be invoiced on a monthly basis in arrears. Each invoice will be issued by the 5th business day of the following month and is payable within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date via bank transfer to the account of Brussels Tech Solutions SRL at BNP Paribas Fortis, IBAN: BE68 5230 1234 5678. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by the Belgian Code of Economic Law. A 10% mobilisation fee is due upon signature of the master service agreement to secure the Software Engineer's availability in the competitive Belgium Brussels talent market.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates and availability of the Software Engineer are subject to re-evaluation.
- The Software Engineer shall comply with all applicable Belgian labour laws, EU regulations, and the client's internal security and confidentiality policies.
- Intellectual property developed specifically for the client during the engagement period shall vest in the client upon full payment, as stipulated in the master service agreement.
- Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice period of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, all work completed up to the termination date shall be invoiced in full.
- Liability of Brussels Tech Solutions SRL under this Quotation Estimate is capped at the total contract value. Neither party shall be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- This engagement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
- The Software Engineer is an employee of Brussels Tech Solutions SRL and is not an agent or representative of the client for any purpose.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined herein for the engagement of the Software Engineer in Belgium Brussels. This signature constitutes a binding acceptance and triggers the execution of the master service agreement.
