Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in monthly instalments, invoiced in arrears on the last working day of each calendar month. The initial mobilisation fee of 10% of the total contract value is due upon execution of the service agreement. All payments are to be made via bank transfer to the nominated account of Meridian Digital Solutions Ltd, Wellington, New Zealand. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with New Zealand commercial practice.
The anticipated project duration for the Software Engineer engagement is six (6) months for the core development phase, followed by a twelve (12) month maintenance and support period. The project is scheduled to commence on 1 August 2025, with a planned completion of the development phase by 31 January 2026. All milestones and deliverable dates are subject to mutual agreement and may be adjusted through a formal change request process as outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
Important Note: This Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide timely access to all necessary systems, data, and subject-matter experts. Costs associated with third-party software licences, hardware procurement, or travel beyond the Wellington metropolitan area are excluded from this Quotation Estimate and will be billed at actual cost if required. Any scope changes exceeding 10% of the original estimate will trigger a revised Quotation Estimate for client approval before additional work commences.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue, after which rates may be subject to revision.
- All intellectual property developed specifically for the client under this engagement shall transfer to the client upon full payment, as governed by New Zealand intellectual property law.
