The Software Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and deliverables within the Uganda Kampala operational environment:

• Requirements Analysis & System Design: The Software Engineer shall conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews, gather functional and non-functional requirements, and produce detailed system architecture documents, including database schemas, API specifications, and user interface wireframes.
• Application Development: Full-cycle development of a web-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) module using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, PostgreSQL), including front-end and back-end engineering, microservices architecture, and RESTful API integration.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Implementation of unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end automated test suites. The Software Engineer shall ensure code coverage of no less than 85% and conduct performance benchmarking under simulated production loads.
• Deployment & DevOps: Configuration of CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, orchestration via Kubernetes, and deployment to the client's on-premise servers located in Uganda Kampala or to a cloud infrastructure of the client's choosing.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Production of comprehensive technical documentation, user manuals, and a minimum of three (3) structured knowledge transfer sessions for the client's internal IT team in Uganda Kampala.
• Post-Deployment Support: A period of ninety (90) days of warranty support, including bug fixes, minor enhancements, and performance tuning, with a guaranteed response time of four (4) business hours for critical defects.

* All rates are quoted in Uganda Shillings (UGX). The total project duration is approximately twenty-one (21) weeks from the date of contract commencement. • Milestone 1 (25%): UGX 24,175,250 – Due upon signing of the service agreement and commencement of the project.
• Milestone 2 (30%): UGX 29,010,300 – Due upon successful completion of core application development and presentation of a working prototype.
• Milestone 3 (25%): UGX 24,175,250 – Due upon completion of QA, deployment, and go-live in the production environment.
• Milestone 4 (20%): UGX 19,340,200 – Due upon successful completion of the 90-day warranty support period and final acceptance sign-off.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be subject to revision based on market conditions in the Uganda Kampala technology sector.
• The Software Engineer shall operate under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and shall not disclose any proprietary information, source code, or business data of the client to any third party.
• All intellectual property rights in the developed software, documentation, and deliverables shall vest exclusively with the client upon full and final payment.

• The client shall provide the Software Engineer with a dedicated workspace, internet connectivity, and access to all necessary systems and data within the Uganda Kampala office premises.
• Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns, or infrastructure failures affecting Uganda Kampala, shall extend project timelines proportionally without penalty to either party.
