The Software Engineer(s) assigned under this Quotation Estimate will possess a minimum of eight (8) years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in scalable distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and healthcare data compliance (HIPAA, HITECH). The Software Engineer will be a U.S. work-authorized professional residing in or willing to relocate to the United States Miami area, ensuring availability for in-person collaboration at the client's Brickell Avenue facility.
Key deliverables for the six-month engagement include: a fully refactored microservices backend, a responsive patient-facing web application, an automated CI/CD deployment pipeline hosted in the AWS us-east-1 (Miami) region, comprehensive unit and integration test suites achieving a minimum of 85% code coverage, and a complete technical documentation package suitable for future Software Engineer onboarding.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance. After the expiration date, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on prevailing United States Miami market conditions.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from invoice date. Invoices will be issued monthly in arrears. A 1.5% late fee applies to payments exceeding the due date.
- A 25% mobilization deposit is required prior to the commencement of work. The remaining balance will be invoiced in equal monthly installments over the six-month engagement period.
- All work performed by the Software Engineer under this Quotation Estimate shall be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, Florida state, and United States Miami municipal labor laws, including but not limited to minimum wage, overtime, and workers' compensation requirements.
- Intellectual property developed during the engagement shall be the sole property of Meridian Health Technologies, Inc., upon full payment of all amounts due under this Quotation Estimate.
- Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be invoiced for all hours worked and approved deliverables completed up to the termination date.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Statement of Work (SOW) or Master Services Agreement (MSA) is executed by both parties.
- All communications, disputes, and legal matters arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, with jurisdiction in the Circuit Court of Miami-Dade County.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary information exchanged during the engagement, in compliance with the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) referenced in Appendix A.
