Scope of Services – Special Education Teacher
This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request issued by the Stadt Zürich Schul- und Sportdepartement for the provision of a qualified Special Education Teacher to support inclusive education programmes across selected primary and secondary schools in Switzerland Zurich. The services outlined below encompass the full professional engagement of a certified Special Education Teacher who will deliver individualized instruction, develop and implement Individualized Education Programmes (IEPs), collaborate with general education staff, and provide ongoing assessment and progress monitoring for students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to dyslexia, attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum conditions, and physical or sensory impairments.
The Special Education Teacher will operate within the regulatory framework established by the Swiss Federal Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (BehIV) and the cantonal education directives of the Canton of Zurich. All pedagogical approaches will align with the Swiss national curriculum standards and the inclusive education philosophy promoted by the Zurich Department of Education.

Terms and Conditions
1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions and exchange rate fluctuations applicable in Switzerland Zurich.
2. Payment Terms: Invoices shall be issued on a monthly basis, payable within thirty (30) days of the invoice date via bank transfer to the account of EduCare Switzerland AG at UBS AG, Zurich. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate of 5% per annum as stipulated under Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) Article 104.
3. Engagement and Cancellation: The Special Education Teacher engagement is for the full academic year (1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026). Early termination by either party requires a written notice of at least sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata charge for services rendered plus a 10% administrative fee will apply.
4. Qualifications: The Special Education Teacher assigned to this contract in Switzerland Zurich shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, a valid Swiss teaching licence (Lehrdiplom) recognized by the Canton of Zurich, and a minimum of five (5) years of documented experience in inclusive and special education settings.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection: All student records, IEP documents, and personal data shall be handled in strict compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG) and the GDPR where applicable. No student information shall be disclosed to third parties without written consent from the legal guardian.
6. Insurance and Liability: EduCare Switzerland AG maintains professional liability insurance with a coverage of no less than CHF 5,000,000. The Special Education Teacher shall be covered under the employer's mandatory accident insurance (UVG) and occupational pension scheme (BVG) as required by Swiss law.
7. Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Swiss Confederation. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Canton of Zurich.
Note: This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. It serves as a formal cost projection for the Special Education Teacher services in Switzerland Zurich. A definitive service agreement will be executed upon mutual written acceptance of this estimate by both parties.
