1. Payment Schedule: A 20% deposit (AUD $743.60) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the client's place in the Speech Therapist's treatment schedule. The remaining balance of AUD $2,974.40 is payable in two equal instalments: 50% at the commencement of Week 1 and 50% at the commencement of Week 7.
2. Payment Methods: We accept EFT (bank transfer), credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and direct debit. All payments are processed in Australian Dollars. Bank details will be provided upon invoice issuance.
3. Private Health Insurance: This Quotation Estimate reflects private (out-of-pocket) rates. Clients with eligible private health insurance may claim a rebate through the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) Item 10003 for Speech Therapist services, subject to their insurer's policy and the requirement of a valid referral from a General Practitioner. The client is responsible for any gap between the MBS rebate and the fees outlined in this estimate.
4. Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee of 50% of the session rate. This policy applies to all Speech Therapist sessions listed in this Quotation Estimate.
5. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, fees may be subject to revision in line with the current Speech Pathology Australia fee guidelines and any changes in Australia Brisbane operational costs.
6. Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the specific services and duration outlined above. Any additional sessions, extended assessments, or specialist referrals (e.g., to an otolaryngologist or neurologist) will be quoted separately and require written client consent prior to commencement.
