2. Scope of Services — Statistician Engagement

5. Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all pricing and availability of the Statistician must be reconfirmed in writing.
- All services will be rendered in accordance with the professional ethics code of the Conselho Federal de Estatística and the data privacy requirements of the LGPD. The Statistician shall execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to accessing any client data.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon contract signing; 40% upon delivery of the statistical report; 20% upon completion of the post-delivery support window. Payments shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account details provided in the formal invoice (Nota Fiscal de Serviços) issued in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
- The estimated total of R$ 62.160,00 (sixty-two thousand one hundred and sixty Brazilian Reais) is inclusive of the municipal service tax (ISS) applicable in Rio de Janeiro. Any additional federal or state taxes, if applicable to the client’s specific tax regime, shall be communicated prior to invoicing.
- Travel and accommodation costs within the city of Rio de Janeiro are included. Travel to other municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro or to other states in Brazil will be quoted separately at actual cost plus a 10% administrative surcharge.
- Scope changes or additional analytical requests beyond the items listed in Section 3 will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and require written approval from both parties before execution.
- Intellectual property of all models, code, and reports developed under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Statistician retains the right to reference the engagement in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal service agreement (Contrato de Prestação de Serviços) must be executed by both parties before any work commences. The agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with jurisdiction of the courts of Rio de Janeiro, RJ.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to public health emergencies, natural disasters affecting the Rio de Janeiro region, or government-mandated operational suspensions, shall extend the project timeline proportionally without penalty to either party.
6. Acceptance and Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Statistician services in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, and authorizes the preparation of a formal service contract based on the terms outlined herein.
