The Systems Engineer proposed under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the client's enterprise computing environment, ensuring maximum uptime, security compliance, and scalability aligned with the operational needs of businesses based in Sri Lanka Colombo.

The Systems Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the Colombo, Sri Lanka operational environment:

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise server infrastructure including Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), and virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN segmentation across the client's Colombo office locations.
Implement and manage cloud hybrid solutions integrating on-premises systems in Sri Lanka Colombo with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Perform routine system health checks, patch management, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans tailored to the regulatory and environmental context of Sri Lanka.
Provide Level 3 technical support and escalation handling for all IT infrastructure incidents affecting the client's operations in Colombo.
Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan data protection regulations and international security standards (ISO 27001, NIST frameworks).
Prepare monthly and quarterly infrastructure reports, including utilization metrics, incident logs, and recommended improvements.

Payment terms: 40% advance upon contract signing, 30% upon completion of the initial infrastructure audit, and 30% upon successful handover and acceptance of the first quarterly report.
The Systems Engineer shall be subject to the client's site policies, code of conduct, and security protocols at all Colombo-based work locations.
Any scope changes or additional services beyond the defined deliverables in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost approval.
Confidentiality: All data, credentials, and proprietary information encountered during the engagement in Sri Lanka Colombo shall be treated as strictly confidential and governed by a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date.
Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo.
