This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request from East African Digital Infrastructure Ltd. for the professional engagement of a qualified Systems Engineer to deliver comprehensive IT infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance services within the Uganda Kampala metropolitan area. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end management of server architectures, network infrastructure, cloud migration strategies, cybersecurity protocols, and ongoing technical support for all operations conducted in and around Uganda Kampala.
The scope encompasses the assessment of existing IT systems, the design of scalable infrastructure solutions, the deployment of hardware and software components, the configuration of enterprise-grade networking equipment, and the establishment of robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans. All deliverables will be executed in strict compliance with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) regulations and the National Information Technology Authority (NITA) standards applicable in Uganda Kampala.

The Systems Engineer assigned to this project in Uganda Kampala shall hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline, with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in enterprise systems engineering. The Systems Engineer must possess certified expertise in Cisco networking, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms, and Linux/Windows Server administration. All deliverables produced under this Quotation Estimate will be documented in English and submitted to the client's Uganda Kampala headquarters within the timelines specified in the project schedule.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, pricing for the Systems Engineer engagement may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Uganda Kampala.
- Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of the infrastructure deployment phase, and 30% upon final acceptance and handover of all deliverables in Uganda Kampala.
- The monthly retainer for ongoing Systems Engineer maintenance and support shall be invoiced on the 1st of each month, payable within fourteen (14) days of invoice receipt.
- All work performed by the Systems Engineer shall comply with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and all applicable regulations enforced by NITA in Uganda Kampala.
- The Systems Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of UGX 500,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement in Uganda Kampala.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond what is outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a formal change order and additional cost assessment before implementation.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Uganda Kampala in accordance with the Arbitration Act, Cap 72 of the Laws of Uganda.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Systems Engineer to deliver the specified services in Uganda Kampala. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon countersignature by both parties.
