2. Production Timeline

Given the complexity of the bespoke Tailor work requested, the estimated production schedule from the date of order confirmation is as follows:

Week 1: Initial measurement, fabric selection, and pattern drafting at our Japan Kyoto atelier.
Week 2–3: Cutting, hand-stitching, and internal construction of the suit and kimono.
Week 4: First fitting appointment; adjustments noted and applied.
Week 5: Final fitting, pressing, and quality inspection by the Master Tailor.
Week 6: Final delivery and garment care briefing.

3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision upon expiration due to fluctuating fabric costs in the Japan Kyoto textile market.
A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount, equivalent to JPY 361,900, is required to commence the Tailor work. The remaining balance is due upon final delivery.
All bespoke garments are made to the client's exact measurements. Due to the nature of custom Tailor work, cancellation after the cutting stage will incur a non-refundable charge of 70% of the garment cost.
Our Japan Kyoto atelier operates Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (JST). Fitting appointments must be scheduled in advance.
The 12-month warranty covers minor repairs such as loose threads, button replacement, and small seam adjustments. It does not cover damage caused by improper care or wear.
All prices are quoted in Japanese Yen (JPY) and include 10% national consumption tax. International shipping, if required, will be quoted separately.
Client-supplied fabrics are accepted at our discretion. The Tailor team reserves the right to advise on fabric suitability for the intended garment.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have signed and the deposit has been received.

Note to Client: As a Tailor atelier rooted in the traditions of Japan Kyoto, we offer complimentary access to our in-house fabric library, which includes over 400 bolts of Japanese and European textiles. You are welcome to visit our showroom in Gion-Shirakawa during your fitting appointments to explore additional material options. Should you wish to modify any item in this Quotation Estimate, please contact our atelier directly and we will issue a revised document within two business days.

4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, pricing, and timeline outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the Tailor services to be performed at our Japan Kyoto location.
