The Tailor workshop at De Gouden Naald in Netherlands Amsterdam estimates the following production timeline for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate:
- Bespoke suit (Ref. 01): Approximately 5–6 weeks from the initial measurement appointment, including two intermediate fittings scheduled at the atelier.
- Bespoke overcoat (Ref. 02): Approximately 6–7 weeks from the initial measurement appointment, including two intermediate fittings.
- Alterations (Ref. 03): 5–7 working days from garment drop-off.
- Trouser repairs (Ref. 04): 3–4 working days from drop-off.
- Custom neckties (Ref. 05): 10–12 working days from fabric confirmation.
All timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the Tailor workshop's current workload. The client will be notified by telephone or email of any significant delays. Garments may be collected at the atelier on the Herengracht, Amsterdam, or arranged for insured courier delivery within the Netherlands Amsterdam postal zone at an additional cost of €15.00.
4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision after the validity period expires, in line with prevailing Tailor industry rates in Netherlands Amsterdam.
4.2 A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount is required to commence work on bespoke items. The remaining balance is due upon collection of the finished garments.
4.3 All bespoke garments are made to the client's exact measurements. The Tailor atelier accepts no liability for garments that do not fit due to client-provided measurement errors or changes in body dimensions after the final fitting.
4.4 One complimentary follow-up fitting and minor adjustment (up to 2 cm) is included within thirty days of collection. Subsequent alterations are charged at the standard Tailor rate of €12.00 per adjustment point.
4.5 Client-supplied fabrics (as in Ref. 05) must be inspected and approved by the Tailor before work commences. The atelier is not responsible for fabric defects, colour bleeding, or shrinkage discovered after construction has begun.
4.6 This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
4.7 The atelier holds full public liability insurance and professional indemnity cover. All work is performed in compliance with Dutch consumer protection regulations (Wet van Aangelegenheden van Consument en Ondernemer).
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, pricing, and timeline set forth in this Quotation Estimate for Tailor services to be performed in Netherlands Amsterdam. The Tailor atelier will commence work upon receipt of the signed document and the required deposit.
