1. Validity and Acceptance
This Quotation Estimate remains valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Acceptance is confirmed upon receipt of the 50% non-refundable deposit. No Tailor work shall commence until the deposit is received in full.
2. Production Timeline
Standard lead time for the bespoke suit is twenty-five (25) business days from the date of the final fitting. The expedited option reduces this to ten (10) business days at the surcharge noted above. All timelines are based on our Tailor workshop capacity in Chicago, IL, and may be extended by up to five business days due to unforeseen material delays.
3. Fittings and Adjustments
The client is entitled to three (3) complimentary fitting sessions at our United States Chicago studio. Additional fittings beyond the third will be billed at $50.00 per session. Minor adjustments (up to 1 inch per alteration point) within fourteen (14) days of final delivery are included at no additional charge.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
In the event the client cancels this Quotation Estimate after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable as it covers pattern drafting, fabric allocation, and workshop scheduling. Cancellation prior to the first cutting of fabric will result in a 75% refund of the deposit.
5. Warranty
Meridian Custom Tailoring Co. provides a twelve-month workmanship warranty on all bespoke garments. This covers stitching failures, lining detachment, and button re-attachment. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, dry-cleaning errors, or normal wear.
6. Governing Law
This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, prior to litigation.
7. Insurance and Liability
Our Tailor operation carries $2,000,000 in general liability insurance. Client-supplied garments are insured up to $500.00 while in our possession. For garments exceeding this value, the client may purchase supplemental coverage at the time of drop-off.
