Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be adjusted to reflect changes in material costs, labor rates, or United States New York City municipal tax obligations.
2. Payment: A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total Quotation Estimate amount is required to commence work. The remaining balance is due upon final fitting and garment collection. We accept all major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, and certified checks. All payments are processed in United States Dollars (USD).
3. Timeline: Bespoke construction items (Items 1, 2, and 5) require a minimum of four (4) to six (6) weeks from deposit confirmation to final delivery, including two (2) in-person fitting sessions at our United States New York City atelier. Alteration items (Items 3, 4, and 6) will be completed within the timelines specified above.
4. Fittings: The client is expected to attend all scheduled fitting appointments at 214 West 42nd Street, New York City, NY 10036. Missed fittings may result in a delay of up to one (1) additional week and a rescheduling fee of $75.00 per occurrence.
5. Revisions: One (1) complimentary minor adjustment (up to 1.5 inches) is included per garment after final delivery. Additional alterations beyond this allowance will be quoted separately at our standard Tailor hourly rate of $85.00 per hour.
6. Cancellation: Cancellation after the deposit has been applied to materials will forfeit the deposit amount. Cancellation before material procurement will receive a full refund within ten (10) business days.
7. Tax: All prices listed in this Quotation Estimate are exclusive of applicable New York State sales tax (8.875%) and any United States New York City local surcharges, which will be added at the time of final invoicing.
8. Liability: Sterling & Thread Tailor Atelier shall not be held liable for damage to client-supplied garments caused by pre-existing structural weaknesses, hidden tears, or material degradation. All client-supplied items are inspected and documented at intake.
