This Quotation Estimate is issued by Osaka International Secondary Academy (hereinafter referred to as "the Academy") in relation to the recruitment, engagement, and ongoing employment of a qualified Teacher Secondary professional to deliver instruction at the secondary education level within the Osaka metropolitan area, Japan. This document outlines all estimated costs, compensation structures, benefits, and associated expenses for the academic year 2025–2026. In accordance with local regulations in Japan Osaka, the Academy shall provide the Teacher Secondary with access to the Osaka Municipal Education Board's resource library, participation in the Kansai Regional Secondary Teachers' Association, and enrollment in the Osaka Prefectural Teachers' Mutual Aid Association. The Teacher Secondary shall also be entitled to the standard Japanese school calendar, which includes approximately 120 instructional days per academic year, with scheduled breaks for Obon (August), New Year (late December to early January), and the spring and winter vacation periods.

This Quotation Estimate further includes a one-time relocation stipend of ¥150,000 for the Teacher Secondary relocating from outside the Osaka prefecture, and a language immersion support program (JLPT preparation) valued at ¥60,000 per academic year for non-native Japanese speakers.

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all figures are subject to revision based on prevailing wage indices in Japan Osaka.
  2. The Teacher Secondary engagement is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, verification of the Shikaken teaching license, and a minimum of two (2) in-person teaching demonstrations at the Academy's Osaka campus.
  3. All compensation outlined in this Quotation Estimate is subject to applicable Japanese income tax withholding, resident tax (Osaka City), and social insurance deductions as mandated by national and prefectural law.
  4. The Academy reserves the right to adjust the teaching load by up to ±2 periods per week without amending this Quotation Estimate, provided the total does not exceed 24 periods per week.
  5. Termination of the Teacher Secondary contract prior to the end of the academic year requires a written notice period of sixty (60) days, in compliance with Osaka Prefecture labor ordinances.
  6. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding employment contract. A formal employment agreement, drafted in both Japanese and English, shall be executed upon mutual acceptance of these terms.
  7. All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent employment of the Teacher Secondary shall be resolved through mediation under the Osaka Labor Standards Inspection Office before any litigation is pursued.
