1. Scope of Work – Telecommunication Engineer ServicesThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Pacific Telecom Solutions Ltd. to provide comprehensive professional services delivered by a certified Telecommunication Engineer operating within the New Zealand Auckland metropolitan area. The scope of work encompasses the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications infrastructure for commercial and residential clients across Auckland, including but not limited to the suburbs of Ponsonby, Remuera, Takapuna, Manukau, and Tauranga Road corridors.
The Telecommunication Engineer assigned to this project holds a BEng (Telecommunications) from the University of Auckland, is registered with Engineers New Zealand (ENZ), and maintains current compliance with the New Zealand Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWB) and the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) telecommunications licensing requirements. The Telecommunication Engineer will mobilise on-site within five (5) working days of written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The estimated project duration is eight (8) to ten (10) working days, subject to site access conditions and weather considerations typical of the New Zealand Auckland climate. A detailed Gantt chart and daily progress report will be provided to the client upon commencement.
4. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to change after the validity period.
- A deposit of 40% of the total amount is required prior to mobilisation. The remaining 60% is payable upon successful commissioning and client sign-off.
- All work performed by the Telecommunication Engineer is covered by a twelve-month workmanship warranty and a two-year manufacturer warranty on all supplied equipment.
- The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary building consents, resource consents, and telecommunications network access permissions from relevant New Zealand Auckland local authorities (Auckland Council, Watercare, or Openline) prior to commencement of civil works.
- Any variation in scope beyond 10% of the original estimate will require a written variation order signed by both parties before additional work proceeds.
- All telecommunications installations will comply with the New Zealand Telecommunications Act 2001, the Privacy Act 2020, and applicable Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 requirements.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal Act 1945 or, where the amount exceeds $100,000, in the District Court of Auckland.
- The Telecommunication Engineer shall carry valid professional indemnity insurance (minimum $10 million) and public liability insurance (minimum $20 million) throughout the duration of the project.
