This Quotation Estimate is issued by CapeLink Telecommunications (Pty) Ltd in response to the formal request for professional Telecommunication Engineer services to be delivered within the metropolitan area of South Africa Cape Town. The scope encompasses the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of integrated telecommunications infrastructure for the Atlantic Business Park complex. Our qualified Telecommunication Engineer team, registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) and holding valid ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa) certifications, will execute all works in full compliance with the South African National Building Regulations, the Electronic Communications Act (Act 36 of 2005), and all applicable municipal by-laws governing the City of Cape Town.

The Telecommunication Engineer assigned to this project will hold a BEng (Telecommunications) degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in enterprise-grade network infrastructure, and demonstrated proficiency in fibre-optic deployment, microwave link installation, structured cabling (Cat6A and Cat7), and 5G small-cell integration. All fieldwork will be conducted within the boundaries of South Africa Cape Town, with primary operations centred at the client's Rondebosch premises and secondary access points at the Sea Point and Woodstock satellite offices.

The Telecommunication Engineer team will mobilise within five (5) business days of contract signature. The full project duration is estimated at fourteen (14) weeks, with the following key milestones: Site survey and design approval (Weeks 1–3); Fibre backbone and structured cabling installation (Weeks 4–9); 5G small-cell and core network deployment (Weeks 10–12); Testing, certification, and municipal sign-off (Weeks 13–14). All works will be scheduled to minimise disruption to the client's existing operations in South Africa Cape Town.

  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be revised to reflect current market conditions for materials, labour, and regulatory compliance in South Africa Cape Town.
  2. Payment terms: 30% deposit upon contract execution; 40% upon completion of installation works; 30% upon final certification and handover. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days of receipt.
  3. The Telecommunication Engineer and all supporting technicians shall carry valid professional indemnity insurance (minimum R 10 million) and public liability insurance (minimum R 5 million) throughout the duration of the project.
  4. All telecommunications equipment and materials supplied shall carry a minimum two-year manufacturer's warranty. Labour and workmanship are guaranteed for twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance.
  5. The client shall provide the Telecommunication Engineer team with safe access to all premises, existing as-built drawings, and any necessary municipal permits or building approvals prior to the commencement of works.
  6. Any variation in scope beyond 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a written variation order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
  7. This project is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Cape Town in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA).
  8. The Telecommunication Engineer shall comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements, including but not limited to working-at-height permits, electrical safety protocols, and confined-space entry procedures.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Telecommunication Engineer services in South Africa Cape Town on the terms and conditions set out herein. This document, once countersigned, constitutes a binding agreement between the parties.
