2. Scope of Work – Telecommunication Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Telecom Solutions Ltd in response to the formal request for professional Telecommunication Engineer services to be delivered at the client's premises and associated infrastructure sites within United Kingdom Birmingham. The scope encompasses the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of a comprehensive fibre-optic and wireless telecommunications network spanning three commercial buildings in the Birmingham city centre. All work shall be carried out in strict compliance with Ofcom regulations, UK Building Regulations (Part P), and the relevant British Standards (BS 7871, BS EN 50173) governing telecommunications infrastructure in the United Kingdom.

4. Project Timeline
The estimated duration for completion of all Telecommunication Engineer works in United Kingdom Birmingham is twelve (12) calendar weeks from the date of contract execution. A detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule will be provided within five working days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. Critical path activities include civil works for ducting, fibre pulling, and final commissioning. Weather-dependent outdoor works will be scheduled with contingency days to account for typical Birmingham seasonal conditions.
5. Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are fixed for the duration of the project unless a variation order is mutually agreed in writing.
- Payment terms: 30% advance deposit upon contract signing; 40% upon completion of physical installation; 30% upon successful commissioning and handover. All invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of issue in accordance with the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- All Telecommunication Engineer personnel shall comply with the client's site-specific health, safety, and environmental policies. A full Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) will be submitted prior to mobilisation in Birmingham.
- Meridian Telecom Solutions Ltd shall maintain Public Liability Insurance of not less than £10,000,000 and Professional Indemnity Insurance of not less than £5,000,000 throughout the project duration.
- Any variation in scope exceeding 10% of the total contract value shall require a formal variation order and a revised Quotation Estimate prior to commencement of additional works.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Birmingham before escalation to the courts of the United Kingdom.
- Intellectual property in design documents and network configurations shall vest in the client upon full payment. Meridian retains the right to use anonymised project data for internal training purposes.
6. Acceptance and Authorisation
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Telecommunication Engineer services to be performed in United Kingdom Birmingham under the terms and conditions set out herein. This document, once countersigned by both parties, constitutes a binding commercial agreement.
