This Quotation Estimate is issued by ZimTelecom Solutions (Pvt) Ltd in response to the formal request from Harare Metropolitan Infrastructure Authority for the engagement of a qualified Telecommunication Engineer to oversee, design, and commission critical telecommunications infrastructure projects within the Zimbabwe Harare metropolitan area. The scope of work encompasses the full lifecycle of telecommunications deployment, including site surveys, network design, equipment installation, fibre-optic cabling, microwave link configuration, and final system commissioning.
The appointed Telecommunication Engineer shall hold a minimum of a BEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a specialisation in Telecommunications, a valid Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with the Engineering Institute of Zimbabwe, and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in telecommunications infrastructure projects. The engineer will be based in Zimbabwe Harare for the duration of the contract and will report directly to the HMIA Project Management Office.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in the following instalments, all denominated in United States Dollars (USD) and payable via bank transfer to the account of ZimTelecom Solutions (Pvt) Ltd at Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe, Harare Branch:
- 30% advance payment ($20,941.50) upon signing of the service agreement and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- 40% progress payment ($27,922.00) upon completion of site surveys, network design delivery, and 50% of physical installation works.
- 30% final payment ($20,941.50) upon successful commissioning, handover of as-built documentation, and issuance of the final acceptance certificate by HMIA.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to exchange rate fluctuations or material cost changes in the Zimbabwe Harare market.
- All services shall be performed in strict compliance with the Zimbabwe National Communications Authority (ZINRA) regulations, the Engineering Institute of Zimbabwe (EIZ) code of practice, and applicable Zimbabwean telecommunications legislation.
- The Telecommunication Engineer shall carry professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of USD 500,000 for the duration of the engagement.
- ZimTelecom Solutions (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather, civil unrest, or government-imposed restrictions within Zimbabwe Harare.
- Any variation in scope beyond 10% of the original contract value shall require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties.
- All intellectual property, design documents, and engineering drawings produced under this engagement shall become the property of HMIA upon full payment.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Zimbabwe Harare in accordance with the Arbitration Act [Chapter 7:15] of the Laws of Zimbabwe.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Telecommunication Engineer for the telecommunications infrastructure project in Zimbabwe Harare. This signature constitutes a binding agreement subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
