The University Lecturer shall be responsible for delivering undergraduate and graduate-level instruction in the fields of macroeconomics, econometrics, and development economics, supervising thesis research, participating in departmental governance committees, and contributing to the institution's research output. The role requires a minimum of a Doctorate in Economics or a related discipline, a minimum of five (5) years of post-doctoral teaching experience, and demonstrated proficiency in both Spanish and English for bilingual instruction. The University Lecturer will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is expected to maintain a physical presence on the Av. Rivadavia campus for a minimum of three (3) days per week, with the remaining days allocated to remote research and administrative duties.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made via electronic bank transfer (SPEI) to the account designated by Academic Talent Solutions S.A. The payment schedule is structured as follows: (a) a non-refundable advance of 15% (ARS 1,289,739.00) due within ten (10) business days of the client's written acceptance of this quotation; (b) monthly salary disbursements processed on the last business day of each calendar month, commencing September 2025; (c) the annual research grant and CPD allowance disbursed in a single installment upon the University Lecturer's completion of the first six (6) months of service; and (d) the remaining administrative and technology fees settled in quarterly installments. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Banco Central de la República Argentina for overdue commercial obligations.
4. Terms and Conditions4.1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing is subject to revision due to inflationary adjustments mandated by Argentine fiscal policy.
4.2. The engagement of the University Lecturer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, academic credential verification through the Ministry of Education of the Nation (Argentina), and a medical fitness examination conducted in Buenos Aires.
4.3. The University Lecturer shall be bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and an intellectual property assignment clause consistent with the UBA's academic regulations and Argentine Law 25.326 on Scientific and Technological Research.
4.4. Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of termination for cause, the University Lecturer shall be entitled to severance pay in accordance with the Argentine Labor Code (Ley 20.744) and the applicable collective bargaining agreement for university staff in Buenos Aires.
4.5. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding employment contract. The definitive terms of employment for the University Lecturer shall be governed by a separate written contract executed in accordance with the academic statutes of the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires and the labor legislation of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
4.6. All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through binding arbitration seated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in accordance with the rules of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce (Cámara de Comercio Argentina), with proceedings conducted in Spanish.
5. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, the authorized representative of the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Academic Talent Solutions S.A. to proceed with the recruitment and engagement of the University Lecturer under the terms and conditions set forth herein. This acceptance does not waive any rights or remedies available to either party under Argentine law.
