- Contribution to at least two (2) peer-reviewed research publications per year in internationally indexed journals.
- Mentoring and onboarding of junior academic staff and visiting scholars during their tenure in China Shanghai.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.
- The University Lecturer must hold a minimum of a Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant engineering or materials science discipline, with a proven record of peer-reviewed publications and prior academic teaching experience of no fewer than three (3) years.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 5 or above) is strongly preferred; proficiency in English (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent) is mandatory for all instructional delivery in China Shanghai.
- The engagement may be terminated by either party with a written notice of sixty (60) days, in compliance with the PRC Labor Contract Law. In the event of termination by the institution without cause, a severance payment equivalent to two (2) months' base salary shall be provided.
- All intellectual property generated during the course of this University Lecturer engagement, including research outputs, patents, and course materials, shall be jointly owned by the lecturer and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as stipulated in the institutional IP policy.
- The University Lecturer is expected to comply with all local regulations in China Shanghai, including but not limited to foreign talent management policies issued by the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent employment contract shall be resolved through arbitration at the Shanghai Arbitration Commission in accordance with its rules of procedure.
- This document constitutes a non-binding estimate of costs. A formal, legally binding employment contract will be executed upon mutual acceptance of the terms outlined herein.
