4. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all figures must be re-evaluated due to potential changes in the Colombian minimum wage, social security contribution rates, or institutional budget allocations for the Medellín campus.

4.2 Payment Schedule: Compensation for the University Lecturer shall be disbursed on the last business day of each calendar month via direct bank transfer to the account designated by the employee. Social security contributions shall be remitted to the respective entities (Colpensiones, EPS, Colsubsidio Medellín) within the first five (5) business days of the following month, in compliance with Colombian tax and labor regulations.

4.3 Contract Duration: The initial engagement period for the University Lecturer position is twelve (12) months, renewable upon mutual agreement and satisfactory performance evaluation. The contract shall be governed by the Colombian Labor Code and the specific bylaws of the institution in Colombia Medellín.

4.4 Tax Obligations: The University Lecturer is responsible for the declaration and payment of personal income tax (Impuesto de Renta) as mandated by the Colombian National Tax Authority (DIAN). The institution shall withhold the applicable progressive tax rate from each monthly disbursement.

4.5 Cancellation: Either party may terminate the engagement with a thirty (30) day written notice. In the event of early termination by the institution without just cause, severance pay (cesantías) and proportional bonuses shall be calculated and paid in accordance with Colombian labor law.

4.6 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and the resulting employment contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes arising from the University Lecturer engagement shall be resolved before the labor courts of the Judicial District of Medellín, Antioquia.

5. Acceptance and Authorization
