1. Purpose of This Quotation Estimate
This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request for proposal (RFP/2025/ENG/118) submitted by the Technical University of Munich for the engagement of a qualified University Lecturer to deliver advanced coursework, supervise research projects, and contribute to curriculum development within the Department of Applied Physics and Computational Modelling. 2. Scope of Services – University Lecturer Responsibilities

5. Payment Terms and Schedule
Payment for the University Lecturer services shall be processed in monthly instalments via bank transfer to the account designated by the University Lecturer, in accordance with the standard payment cycle of the Technical University of Munich. The base remuneration (Item 4.1) shall be disbursed in twelve equal monthly payments. Lump-sum items (4.3, 4.6) shall be payable within thirty (30) calendar days of written invoice submission. Conference travel costs (Item 4.4) shall be reimbursed upon submission of itemised receipts and a brief activity report. All payments are subject to the standard German statutory deductions for social insurance (Rentenversicherung, Krankenversicherung, Arbeitslosenversicherung) and income tax (Lohnsteuer) as governed by the relevant provisions of the German Social Security Code (Sozialgesetzbuch).
6. Terms and Conditions
6.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision.
6.2 Acceptance: Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate shall be confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of the Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany, via signed contract or formal letter of appointment.
6.3 Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a notice period of three (3) months, in compliance with the TV-L collective agreement applicable to University Lecturer positions in Germany.
6.4 Intellectual Property: All lecture materials, problem sets, and curriculum documents created specifically for the University during the contract period shall remain the property of the institution. The University Lecturer retains full ownership of pre-existing research and publications.
