The total amount specified in this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed according to the following schedule, subject to the University Lecturer fulfilling all contractual obligations:
- Monthly Installments (Items 1, 4, 5): Paid on the 25th of each month via bank transfer to the University Lecturer's designated account in Iraq Baghdad. Late payments beyond five (5) business days shall incur a 2% monthly surcharge.
- Quarterly Disbursement (Items 2, 7): Research allowance and professional development funds released at the end of each academic quarter upon submission of activity reports.
- One-Time Payments (Items 3, 6, 8): Thesis supervision fees paid upon completion of each candidate's defense. Relocation and onboarding costs settled within 14 days of contract commencement.
- End-of-Contract Payment (Item 9): Performance bonus disbursed within 30 days of the final academic evaluation, provided the University Lecturer achieves a minimum rating of "Satisfactory" or above.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in Iraq Baghdad and updates to the Ministry of Higher Education salary scales.
- The University Lecturer is expected to maintain a minimum teaching load of 18 contact hours per week. Reductions below 12 hours per week will result in a proportional salary adjustment as per university bylaws.
- All academic work, research publications, and intellectual property produced during the tenure of the University Lecturer position shall be jointly owned by the individual and the University of Baghdad, in compliance with Iraqi academic regulations.
- The University Lecturer must comply with all local laws, regulations, and cultural norms applicable in Iraq Baghdad. Any violation may result in immediate contract termination without severance.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding employment contract. A formal employment agreement, subject to approval by the University Senate and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, must be executed prior to commencement of duties.
- Taxes and social security contributions shall be handled in accordance with the Iraqi Labor Law (No. 37 of 2015) and applicable university regulations. The University Lecturer is responsible for any personal tax obligations not covered by the institution.
- Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of termination by the institution without cause, the University Lecturer shall receive a severance payment equivalent to two (2) months' base salary.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent employment contract shall be resolved through internal university mediation first, followed by the competent labor courts in Baghdad, Iraq, if necessary.
- This document is prepared exclusively for the named recipient and may not be transferred, shared, or used for any other purpose without prior written consent from the Academic Recruitment Division.
