- Contract Duration: This Quotation Estimate and the resulting employment agreement shall be valid for one (1) academic year, commencing 1 September 2025 and concluding 30 June 2026, with an option for renewal subject to mutual written agreement no later than 30 April 2026.
- Probationary Period: The first three (3) months of the engagement shall constitute a probationary period during which either party may terminate the agreement with fourteen (14) days' written notice.
- Payment Schedule: Monthly salary and allowances shall be disbursed by the 5th business day of each month via bank transfer to the University Lecturer's designated account in a Kazakhstan-based financial institution. The one-time relocation and recruitment fees shall be paid within fifteen (15) business days of contract execution.
- Working Hours: The standard academic workload in Kazakhstan Almaty is 36 hours per week, inclusive of teaching, preparation, administrative duties, and research. The academic calendar follows the standard two-semester structure with winter and summer breaks.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with sixty (60) days' written notice after the probationary period. Early termination by the institution without cause shall entitle the University Lecturer to a severance payment equivalent to two (2) months' base salary.
- Confidentiality & IP: All course materials, research data, and institutional information developed during the engagement remain the property of the host university. The University Lecturer shall adhere to the non-disclosure provisions outlined in the master employment contract.
- Governing Law: This agreement and all matters arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the labour and higher education legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Almaty city.
