Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed as follows:
- 30% (NGN 2,884,425) — Upon successful completion of recruitment, contract signing, and onboarding of the University Lecturer.
- 50% (NGN 4,807,375) — Disbursed in twelve (12) equal monthly instalments (NGN 400,614.58 per month) commencing September 2025.
- 20% (NGN 1,922,950) — Payable upon satisfactory completion of the academic year and submission of the annual performance appraisal by the Head of Department.
5.1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all figures are subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in Nigeria Abuja.
5.2. The University Lecturer must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching or research experience. A PhD is strongly preferred and will be considered in the final selection process.
5.3. The engagement is on a one-year renewable contract. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluation, adherence to the NUC academic calendar, and availability of budgetary provisions in the subsequent fiscal year.
5.4. The University Lecturer shall be bound by the Federal University of Technology staff handbook, the FCSC code of conduct, and all applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Abuja FCT local government regulations.
5.5. Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement contract shall be resolved through the university's internal grievance mechanism before escalation to the Federal High Court, Abuja.
5.6. The University reserves the right to terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice in cases of gross misconduct, sustained underperformance, or material breach of the terms set forth herein.
