• The University Lecturer must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in the relevant discipline, with a preference for candidates possessing a Doctorate (Ph.D.) and at least three (3) years of post-graduate teaching experience in a recognized Philippine higher education institution.
• Payment shall be made on a monthly basis via bank transfer to the designated account of the University Lecturer, no later than the fifth (5th) business day of each month, in accordance with the University of Manila's financial disbursement policies.
• The engagement is governed by the Higher Education Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 10931) and the applicable labor standards set by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the Philippines Manila jurisdiction.
• Any additional services beyond the scope outlined herein, including but not limited to extra-curriculum teaching loads, international conference travel, or special project consulting, shall be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate and written approval from the Dean's Office.
• The University Lecturer is required to submit a monthly activity report and a comprehensive end-of-semester performance evaluation to the Department Head and the Office of the Dean.
• All intellectual property, research outputs, and teaching materials developed during the tenure of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the University Lecturer and the University of Manila, as stipulated in the institutional IP policy.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties and countersigned by the University's Legal Counsel and the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
