This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in response to the formal request submitted by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona for the recruitment, onboarding, and annual professional services of a University Lecturer in the field of International Economics and Trade Policy. Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in accordance with the following schedule, all transfers to be executed via SEPA bank transfer to the account of Academia Catalana de Recursos Humanos S.L. at CaixaBank, Barcelona branch:
- 30% advance payment (EUR 30,303.24) due within ten (10) business days of written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- Monthly instalments of the remaining balance (EUR 5,687.57 per month) payable on the first business day of each month, commencing September 2025 and concluding August 2026.
- All payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly late-payment interest charge in the event of non-payment beyond the agreed due date, in compliance with Spanish Royal Decree-Law 4/2013 on late payment in commercial transactions.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing, particularly the University Lecturer salary benchmark and social security contribution rates applicable in Spain Barcelona, may be subject to revision.
- The engagement of the University Lecturer is governed by the Spanish Workers' Statute (Estatuto de los Trabajadores, Real Decreto Legislativo 2/2015) and the specific collective bargaining agreement for university academic staff in Catalonia.
- Academia Catalana de Recursos Humanos S.L. shall bear full responsibility for the correct processing of all employment documentation, tax withholdings (IRPF), and social security registrations with the relevant authorities in Spain Barcelona.
- The University Lecturer shall be required to comply with all institutional policies of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, including the code of conduct, research ethics guidelines, and data protection regulations (GDPR and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018).
- Either party may terminate the engagement with a written notice period of sixty (60) days, subject to the provisions of the applicable Spanish employment legislation. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata adjustment to the Quotation Estimate amounts shall be applied.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through the competent courts of Barcelona, Spain, or by arbitration before the Barcelona Arbitration Centre (Centro de Arbitraje de Barcelona), at the election of the aggrieved party.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until it has been countersigned by both parties. The definitive employment contract for the University Lecturer shall be executed separately in accordance with Spanish labour law requirements.
