In accordance with standard commercial practice in Madrid, Spain, payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in four equal instalments of 13,037.75 EUR (including IVA), due on the following dates:
- Instalment 1: 15 September 2025 (upon contract signature and commencement of duties)
- Instalment 2: 15 December 2025 (end of the first teaching semester)
- Instalment 3: 15 March 2026 (mid-point of the second teaching semester)
- Instalment 4: 15 June 2026 (conclusion of the academic year and final deliverables)
All payments shall be made by direct bank transfer (transferencia bancaria) to the account of Academic Services International S.L. held at Banco Santander, IBAN: ES91 0049 0001 5320 1234 5678, BIC: BSABESBB. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Spanish Law on Late Payment in Commercial Transactions (Ley 3/2004).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and conditions are subject to revision without prior notice.
- The University Lecturer engaged under this quotation shall hold a minimum of a Doctoral degree (Doctorado) in Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline, as required by the Spanish public university staffing regulations (Estatuto del Personal Docente e Investigador, Real Decreto 276/2007).
- All teaching and administrative duties shall be performed on the premises of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Madrid, Spain, or at such other locations within the Madrid metropolitan area as may be reasonably agreed in writing.
- The University Lecturer shall comply with all applicable Spanish labour legislation, including the Estatuto de los Trabajadores (Real Decreto Legislativo 2/2015), and shall be registered with the corresponding Social Security centre in Madrid.
- Intellectual property arising from teaching materials, syllabi, and examination papers developed specifically for the host institution shall vest in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid upon full payment of the relevant instalment.
- Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata adjustment of the remaining instalments shall be applied.
- This quotation does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties in accordance with Spanish civil and commercial law (Código Civil, Código de Comercio).
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain, in accordance with Article 51 of the Spanish Civil Procedure Law (Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil).
- Personal data processed in connection with this quotation shall be handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPDGDD, Ley Orgánica 3/2018).
