The following conditions apply to this Quotation Estimate for the University Lecturer position in Sudan Khartoum:
- All monetary figures are subject to annual review by the University Finance Committee in accordance with the prevailing exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Sudanese Pound as determined by the Central Bank of Sudan.
- The University Lecturer shall be required to reside within the Khartoum metropolitan area during the active teaching semester. The University of Khartoum reserves the right to provide on-campus accommodation at the Omdurman campus, in which case the housing allowance shall be adjusted accordingly.
- Probationary period of six (6) months shall apply at the commencement of the appointment. During this period, the base salary shall be paid at 85% of the full rate as specified in this Quotation Estimate.
- The University Lecturer is expected to participate in university governance activities, including but not limited to departmental meetings, faculty senate sessions, and student examination boards, all conducted in Sudan Khartoum.
- Any additional teaching load beyond the maximum of 20 contact hours per week shall be compensated at a rate of $45.00 per contact hour, as per the University's overtime academic policy.
- Tax obligations shall be governed by the Sudanese Revenue Authority regulations. The University shall withhold applicable income tax as mandated by the Republic of Sudan.
This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Should the University Lecturer appointment not be finalized within this period, the University of Khartoum reserves the right to revise all figures to reflect current market conditions in Sudan Khartoum. Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate constitutes agreement to all terms, conditions, and financial provisions outlined herein. This document does not constitute a binding employment contract until formally countersigned by both the University Registrar and the appointed University Lecturer.
