Payment for the University Lecturer engagement outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made on a monthly basis, in arrears, via electronic funds transfer to the designated bank account of the appointee. The first payment shall be processed within ten (10) working days of the official commencement date as stipulated in the University of Uganda Academic Calendar. The one-time office and laboratory setup cost (Item 7) shall be disbursed in a single lump sum prior to the start of the academic term.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all costs may be revised to reflect changes in the Uganda Kampala economic environment.
- The University Lecturer shall be bound by a standard employment contract issued by the University of Uganda, which shall incorporate all terms referenced in this Quotation Estimate.
- Probationary period: The University Lecturer shall serve a probationary period of twelve (12) months, during which the terms of this Quotation Estimate remain in full effect.
- Tax obligations: All applicable income tax deductions under the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) guidelines shall be withheld at source from the gross remuneration stated in this Quotation Estimate.
