All compensation and benefits outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed according to the following schedule, in compliance with the payroll regulations of the State of New York and the United States New York City municipal code:
- Base Salary: Disbursed bi-weekly via direct deposit on the 15th and last business day of each month.
- Course Development Stipend: Paid in two installments — 50% upon course syllabus approval and 50% upon completion of the semester.
- Research & Publication Grant: Disbursed quarterly upon submission of progress reports to the Department Chair.
- Insurance & Retirement Contributions: Processed monthly through the university's benefits administration office.
- Recruitment & Placement Fee: Payable in full within 30 days of the University Lecturer's official start date.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on prevailing academic labor market conditions in the United States New York City area.
- The University Lecturer engagement is for an initial term of twelve (12) months, commencing on the first day of the Fall 2025 academic semester. Renewal is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluation and mutual written agreement no later than sixty (60) days prior to contract expiration.
- Academic Talent Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the placement or ongoing employment of the University Lecturer.
- All intellectual property, research findings, and course materials developed by the University Lecturer during the term of this engagement shall be governed by the intellectual property policies of Metropolitan State University and applicable United States federal copyright law.
- Either party may terminate this agreement with a written notice of ninety (90) days. In the event of termination for cause, the notice period shall be reduced to thirty (30) days.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding employment contract. A formal employment agreement, compliant with New York State labor law and United States New York City municipal employment regulations, shall be executed upon acceptance of this estimate.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the United States New York City jurisdiction, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- Taxes, withholdings, and statutory deductions shall be applied in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) guidelines, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and New York City Department of Finance regulations.
