The UX UI Designer will be physically based in our studio in Higashiyama-ku, Japan Kyoto, and will collaborate directly with your in-house product team. The scope includes the following phases:

The total estimated duration for this UX UI Designer engagement in Japan Kyoto is approximately 17 weeks (4 months), commencing on the date of contract execution. All milestones are subject to timely client feedback within 5 business days of each deliverable presentation. Delays in client review may extend the timeline proportionally, and any additional time incurred will be reflected in a revised Quotation Estimate issued prior to commencement of the extended work.
3. Terms and Conditions3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, pricing may be adjusted to reflect current market rates for UX UI Designer services in Japan Kyoto.
3.2 Payment Schedule: 30% upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of Phase 3 (Visual Design), and 30% upon final delivery and acceptance. All payments are due within 14 days of invoice date via bank transfer to our account at Kyoto Bank, Higashiyama Branch.
3.3 Revisions: Each phase includes two rounds of revisions. Additional revision cycles beyond the included amount will be billed at ¥25,000 per hour for the UX UI Designer's time.
3.4 Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all design deliverables, source files, and documentation become the exclusive property of the client. The UX UI Designer retains the right to display completed work in a professional portfolio with prior written consent from the client.
3.5 Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all project materials, user data collected during testing in Japan Kyoto, and proprietary business information shared during the engagement.
3.6 Cancellation: Should the client cancel this engagement, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total Quotation Estimate amount applies if cancellation occurs before Phase 2. After Phase 2, 50% of the total amount is non-refundable.
3.7 Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through the Kyoto District Court.
4. Additional NotesThe UX UI Designer assigned to this project holds over 12 years of experience in digital product design, with a particular focus on applications serving the Japanese domestic market. All work will be conducted from our studio in Japan Kyoto, ensuring cultural alignment, local market understanding, and the ability to conduct in-person user research sessions with participants across the Kyoto metropolitan area. Travel expenses for on-site client meetings within Kyoto city limits are included in this Quotation Estimate. Travel to locations outside Kyoto will be billed at actual cost with prior written approval.
